DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology is the magic behind SMART’s proprietary digital touch system. It lets you use your finger as a mouse and write in digital ink on the screen – without special tools or reduction in image quality. Cameras track contact on the screen.

Sensors detect when a pen or eraser tool is picked up from the SMART Pen Tray. Buttons on the tray allow you to choose an on-screen keyboard or to right-click.

Simply pick up a pen to write in digital ink . You can even use your finger to write. No special tools are required, and you don’t have to launch any software. Just walk up to the interactive whiteboard and start writing.

Capture your work to Notebook software as a screen shot that you can edit, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Windows versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, or into AutoCAD software.

SMART Board software offers a powerful combination of Notebook whiteboarding software and SMART Board Tools.

Notebook software gives you access to thousands of digital images, templates, interactive and educational content, and advanced drawing tools. Through an easy-to-use interface, you can also create, organise and save notes, drawings and screen captures

SMART Board Tools add flexibility and convenience to teaching. You can write over digital video, type with the On-Screen Keyboard or focus attention using the Screen Shade and Spotlight tools. Other features include LinQ software, the Start Centre, SMART Video Player, SMART Recorder and Floating Tools.

The handle can be used to adjust the screen height between 69" (175.3 cm) and 83" (210.8 cm).

An integrated SVGA (800 x 600) projector with short-throw lens comes installed. A 2000i with an XGA (1024 x 768) projector is also available.

The integrated audio system includes stereo-amplified speakers controlled from the front of the unit.

The diffusion screen reduces reflection and glare to deliver a high-contrast, uniform image with a wide viewing angle.

Projector power, input sources and volume can be controlled at the front of the unit.

The shelf connects to either side of the cabinet. There are two height options.

A computer and peripherals can be stored on the tray for easy access.

Four large, durable castors make the 2000i easy to reposition and lock in place.

This module integrates the functionality of the control-panel buttons with a room-control system.

Connection cables and an X-Port 20 switch (inside the unit) let you control your laptop from the interactive whiteboard. You can switch between your computer and laptop from the control panel.
