Underlays for AirLiner wireless slates

AirLiner wireless slates add freedom and flexibility to your classroom, letting you get more versatility from your SMART Board interactive whiteboard. And now paper underlays from SMART make your wireless slates even easier to use.

What are underlays for AirLiner slates?
The underlays are printed sheets that fit under the plastic cover of an AirLiner wireless slate. They come in standard unlined, grid or lined formats. You can also get underlays in standard gray or your choice of four colors: red, blue, black and green.

How do I use underlays with my AirLiner wireless slate?
Each underlay features icons that guide you to on-screen shortcuts. Simply touch an icon with the slate’s pen to choose the tool you want, such as pen, eraser, right-click or screen capture.

Lined underlays enable students to keep their writing within the lines. Grid underlays are especially useful when drawing or working on math problems. Colored underlays make it easy to tell which AirLiner slate is being used, so multiple users can be distinguished when their writing appears on the SMART Board interactive whiteboard.

How do I get underlays for my AirLiner wireless slate?

Underlays for your AirLiner slate are available as a free download from SMART. You simply take the graphics file to a print shop, then cut the underlays to size and slip them under the AirLiner wireless slate’s clear plastic cover.

note: You may need to go to a print shop because the underlay page size is larger than the capacity of most desktop printers.
