What's new with the 600i?
The new SMART Board 600i interactive whiteboard system offers you the following:
- Wide-screen option – The wide-format 685i3 model gives you 20% more working space and is ideal for classrooms that use wide-screen laptops and monitors. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and native WXGA (1,280 x 800) wide-screen projector resolution.
- Network-enabled projector – The UF55 projector can be connected to your school's IP network, enabling it to be remotely controlled and managed through the Web server or SNMP client.
- Improved lamp life – The 600i projector bulb lasts for 3,000 hours in standard mode and 4,000 hours in economy mode. The third-generation system offers a 50% increase in lamp life over the previous generation, the equivalent of an extra year of use.
- Improved damage resistance – The unique collapsible boom ensures that even in rare cases of misuse or damage, the system can be easily repaired by replacing one inexpensive part.
- Improved installation – Installation is even simpler with the new 600i. Its sleek, integrated boom design and swivel projector mount make projector alignment effortless. Virtually any classroom can accommodate the system because the projector is located directly above the interactive whiteboard, eliminating the need for complicated wiring or ceiling mounting.
- Improved theft resistance – The system’s integrated boom and projector design make it a less attractive target for thieves, and its Kensington lock slot and projector padlock loop act as additional visual and physical deterrents.
- Best image quality – The new 600i ensures lessons look crisp and bright from every position in the room, no matter the lighting conditions.
- Multiposition boom – At installation and setup, the UF55 projector and the wide-format UF55w projector can be configured to accommodate multiple room sizes and SMART Board interactive whiteboards, including the 560, 580, 660, 680 and 685 models.
