No, dual-user mode does not impact your work in single-user mode. You can have a mixture of single- and dual-user pages within the same SMART Notebook file, as well as the ability to switch back and forth between single- and dual-user mode with the touch of a button on the SMART Notebook toolbar.

How do I select dual-user mode?
Simply click the dual-user mode icon on the toolbar.

Can users use different tools or different color pens simultaneously in dual-user mode?
Each user will have their own Floating Tools toolbar from which they can select their pen, eraser, highlighter, etc., enabling them to perform functions independent of the other user on the board.

In dual-user mode, can I write or drag an object from one side of the board to the other?
No. There is a non-adjustable, slightly visible hard line down the middle of the board, and each user's content remains on their side. However, there is no restriction to what each user can do on their side of the board.
