Licensing
SMART Ideas concept-mapping software is sold on a per-computer basis. One license will function on one laptop, one desktop computer, or one home computer. Volume discounts are available for school districts, higher education institutions, government organizations and corporations. K–12 School Licenses
A school license is available to K–12, primary and secondary schools. One school license includes unlimited SMART Ideas software installs for a single school at a single postal address. The school license is restricted to K–12, primary and secondary schools.
Education Pricing
North American schools may qualify for a grant of 35 percent of the purchase price from the SMARTer Kids Foundation. Visit http://www.smarterkids.org/k12/smartproducts/index.asp for more information.
Upgrades
Minor upgrades and patches (e.g., version 4.0 to version 4.1) are available free of charge. Major upgrades are released annually and are available to SMART Ideas software customers for a nominal charge.
Shipping
You will receive one installation CD and one User’s Guide with each order when shipping charges are added to the purchase. The rest of the licenses are serial numbers only. A PDF version of the User’s Guide can also be downloaded from http://www.smarttech.com/support/product/smartideas/guides.asp.
Please provide your e-mail address with your order to receive the serial number used to activate your software. If you have installed the 30-day evaluation version of SMART Ideas software, you can activate your software immediately using this serial number.
