Current customers
If you already have SMART Notebook on your computer and you want to upgrade, update SMART Product Update (SPU) first.
To update SPU
1. Open any SMART software program.
2. Click Help > Check for Updates.
3. Click the Update button beside SMART Product Update.
SPU updates automatically.
To upgrade SMART Notebook
1. Repeat steps 1 to 2 above.
2. Click the Update button beside SMART Notebook.
SMART Notebook updates automatically.
New customers
Follow the steps below to download and activate SMART Notebook 10.6.
1. Obtain a product key to activate SMART Notebook 10.6.
2. Download SMART Notebook software, either by clicking the Download button below or the link in the e-mail you received from SMART when you registered for a product key.
3. During the installation process, enter the product key you received from SMART.
NOTE: If you don't obtain a product key, you can use SMART Notebook 10.6 for 30 days.
Installation Notes
- • Don't uninstall the Gallery if you want to keep your previous Gallery content.
- • Uninstall Notebook software and software drivers for version 9.7 or earlier before you install version 10.
- • See the SMART Notebook Release Notes for more information about this software release.
IMPORTANT:
If you are running the Mac OS X 10.4 operating system, download version 10, service pack 2 instead.
If you are running the Mac OS X 10.3.9 operating system, download version 9.5, service pack 3.
